Manchester PS is one of the oldest photographic societies in Britain - founded in 1855 by a group of amateur photographers and eminent citizens of Manchester. Today our members are all amateurs with a variety of photographic interests. We aim to help members get the most out of their hobby by offering help and advice and sharing ideas.

The Society is a member of the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union (L&CPU) and affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB).
